The Fujinon 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 XC OIS Lens features a broad focal range suitable for a variety of scenarios including portraits and distant subjects. Its built-in Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS) ensures images are tack-sharp and full of detail, even at the telephoto end of the zoom.
With a 35mm equivalent focal range of 76-350mm, this lens is perfect for emotive up-close portraits and capturing distant scenes such as concerts, school performances, wildlife and sporting action. A minimum focusing distance of 1.1 - 3m equips you to shoot macro-style photos. Zoom in at close range to capture the fine detail normally unnoticed by the human eye.
The image stabiliser counteracts camera shake at long focal lengths to deliver bright, crisp images. It also helps in low-light situations by allowing the use of slower shutter speeds without adversely affecting the image quality.
Autofocus is fast, accurate and virtually silent thanks to a high-speed precision stepping motor. Its speed and accuracy is great for tracking fast moving objects while its smooth focusing action is well-suited to video and filmmakingapplications.
Vivid images are produced thanks to the utilisation of one aspherical element and one extra-low dispersion element. Both work together to produce a high level of detail across the entire frame whilst reducing fringing and chromatic aberrations. A Super Electron Beam Coating (EBC) reduces lens flare and minimises reflections to produce a bright, high contrast overall image.
The Fuji 50-230mm OIS X-Mount lens is the ideal choice for beginners and enthusiasts looking to expand their creative potential by exploring the unique perspectives and macro opportunities offered by a powerful zoom lens.
